Jim Graham – Buried Truth – Book Reviews (Nov. 2025)
Official reviews:
Natasha Stoynoff, a freelance journalist and a three-time New York Times bestselling author, writes this:
“…Buried Truth follows a son’s relentless search for his father and the truth behind his loving parents’ tragic fate. I cried, laughed, and swore aloud reading this. At times troubling, at times tender, the reader roots for the author on his decades-long journey and yearns for a justice hard to find but a peace possible to attain.”
From Amazon (Nov. 3, 2025):

5.0 out of 5 stars: A wonderful story of inspired determination!
“A beautiful story of dogged determination in the search for truth. And I was able to witness this pursuit of truth as a dear friend for the past forty years. A must read. You will draw inspiration for your own life journey, no matter what obstacles you may face.”

5.0 out of 5 stars: High Morals, Despicable Harm
“I just read this book all in one sitting; it was, as the author claims, that compelling. It reveals a church of self described high morals that cannot admit to a breach of its own rules, and more than a half century of covering up true paternity, causing hurt and dismay to many people for most of their lives. Jim Graham’s determined 30+ year effort finally brought peace for him. The story is expertly written and told with genuine feeling, to the point one can feel the harm endured by not only Jim, but others also.”

5.0 out of 5 stars: A Touching and Powerful Memoir
“”Buried Truth” is an unbelievable memoir about an unimaginable secret, told with insight and compassion. In the course of the book, we come to know a distant “father” and a determined son. The story of this life is told as if the author is speaking to you personally. Prepare to be engrossed, sad, and relieved

5.0 out of 5 stars: Answers to the author’s life questions revealed
“It’s not often mysteries about one’s life are revealed. In this case, the mysteries were not simply revealed but relentlessly researched and dogmatically pursued. His questions surrounding the behaviors of his family during childhood brought understanding, solace, and pain. During what was a difficult journey, the author persevered, pushing against vows of silence and attempts to hide the truth, his family’s truth, by the Catholic church. A very personal story that takes courage to share.”
